The Beginning of It All

Hi!!!

I know I haven't written in a really, really, REALLY long time, but yesterday was my first day of college.  After 2 days of driving and 2 days of sightseeing, it's finally official.  I haven't started classes yet, but I am now technically a college girl! I was the last one to start, but now I'm finally on board with everyone else:)

Yesterday was move in day, and honestly, it was a little harder than I thought! It was hard to say goodbye to my family and actually realize that I wasn't driving back home with them.  The whole trip up to Seattle, it simply felt like a vacation, but when you're lugging your boxes into your room and you actually start unpacking, it starts to hit you! When it came time for the parents to leave, I didn't cry, but it was hard to see them go. I was now alone. I really don't know anyone except for one person, Jennifer (THANK G-D), and the comfort of home and my parents were slipping away!

But that's ok, because as soon as they left, I explored the campus, went to a late night movie and a midnight carnival.  The carnival was...ok. But the best part, Jennifer had some new friends from her dorm and they knew about a bunch of frat parties. So, we rushed over to the houses, and tried to get in on all the fun. Remind me...next time maybe I should host the party:P I was expecting them to be CRAZY!! but it IS only the first days LOL.

Ooooo! Btw, it's soooo hot! When you go outside the buildings and dorms, it's amazingly warm! Sometimes it's a bit too much for this San Fran girl, but it is really nice to be able to put on some shorts for now:)

Love,

Hannah

In a Blink of an Eye

Hi Everyone!

I know it's been a long time since the my last entry, but I felt like today was a good day to write about. It was just so fun! And fun doesn't mean you have to go and do something crazy, well for some people, but for me, a chill day walking and spending time with friends is more than good enough for me!

Today I walked the Golden Gate Bridge with Jenny and Sze-Wing. I woke up and the sun was shining through my window, so I automatically knew it was going to be a wonderful day!  To my surprise, Jenny and I happened to get on the same bus, and OUT OF NO WHERE..."I wanna get a piercing!" My reaction:...GO FOR IT!!! I was excited for her and I wasn't even the one considering a piercing:) A great start to my morning!

Aren't we Beautiful! Well, sucks for you if you don't think so, because I think we're Amazing!

So we walked, we talked, we laughed, we had great weather...some of the best we've had for awhile!  Then came the Indian food. Looking back, it was okay. But at the moment= no breakfast + a bottle of water= VERY HUNGRY...chicken curry, naan, and samosas were the best thing since sliced bread!
Ooooohhh yeeaaah....

Finally we met up with Linda...where SHE got her ears pierced...for the first time EVER! Yay Linda! Yes you got that right, Jenny did not get her ear pierced but LINDA! She took it like a big girl and I hope she'll be excited when she can finally wear some cute earrings:) It was so cool to see her get her ears pierced, but it went really fast. All the initial excitement, energy, and nerves make it seem like such a long process, but when it's done, you really realize how fast it happens. A blink of an eye!

But sheeesh....everybody lately has been doing something adventurous! Piercings, tattoos,...i want to do something fun! I joke about skydiving...but I think I would do it...maybe:P  Can't guarantee that I wouldn't chicken out haha.

All in all, today was a great day! It's fun to spend time with my girlies, but...I don't want to say it so soon...but it's really gonna be hard when we all go to college. I know I'll see them again, but as it gets closer and closer to our departures...well, actually our going-away-but-see-you-again-soon, I'm just trying to enjoy our time together. The summer of summers:)
